Los Angeles, 1982:  Erin’s teacher, Mrs. Ketchum, adapts the children’s book All Wrong, Mrs. Bear into a play for a presentation in front of the whole school. She stands in front of the class, presenting the project, and asks: “Who would like to play Mrs. Bear?”  Erin politely waits for other students to raise their hands in interest. When Mrs. Ketchum’s request is met with silence, Erin turns to her classmates and speaks out of turn in disbelief: “You GUYS! It’s the LEAD!”

Guess who got the part?

After her debut as Mrs. Bear, Erin participates in lots of church, school, theme park and community theater productions. She has a marvelous time making some life-long friends and growing as an artist.

New York City, 1996: Erin moves to the Big Apple the day after her graduation from college. She has identified herself a New Yorker ever since. In addition to performing, she enjoys yoga, traveling, animals, reading, and photography.

Present day, 2018: Erin is a member of Actor’s Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. She was the founding managing director and served on the board of the American Bard Theater Company (2009 - 2012). She was an Artistic Associate for Nöel & Company (2012 - 2014). In 2017, after a three-year break from show business to have a son, she came back to American Bard Theater Company as co-producing artistic director (a title she joyfully shares with her dear friend, Cheri Wicks.) With two women at the helm, American Bard Theater Company now focuses its mission on cultivating an inclusive community in the greater New York City area and presenting stories that reflect current social and political issues. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master's degree in Liberal Studies from State University of New York, Stony Brook.

…And Mrs. Ketchum?

In 2005, She flew all the way from Los Angeles to attend Erin’s wedding.
