Today was Halloween and, let's see, not much got done today. I reconciled our bank accounts - that doesn't technically have anything to do with my career, though. (Unless having all your ducks in a row so you can go to class or hire a babysitter for an audition is important to you...it is for me.) I also made an activity board for my son. Again, not acting-related, except that I'm pursuing my MA right now in order to better prepare as a teaching artist. Doing creative things for (and with) my son is edifying. I sometimes jokingly call him "Mamma's Little Test Subject." I think the activity board turn out lovely! He's really young, so it's simple: a few identifiable holiday pictures (leaves, turkey, and family), a couple of baby sign language prompts, a Shakespeare quote and a bible verse. Oh! And a prompt to say hello to the "Mirror Baby". He loves being held up to look at himself in that mirror!
