This week I "got back on the wagon" with my fitness regime.
1) I finally made an appointment to see my chiropractor after a six month lapse. The left side of my neck and shoulder are quite problematic right now. I think my days of slinging a big bag over my right shoulder are over. So...
2) I caved and bought myself a backpack....but, like, a nice one. I don't want to feel like a college student.
3) I'm also on my third week of a daily yoga commitment. This is such a good thing for me. Breathing.
Other stuff: I read "In The Next Room..." by Sarah Ruhl. I stayed up way too late to finish it. I yawned my way through work the next day, but it was worth it. I love this play! The New York Times reviewed it as such:
“In the Next Room” is a true novelty: a sex comedy designed not for sniggering teenage boys — or grown men who wish they were still sniggering teenage boys — but for adults with open hearts and minds."
Yes. I like this so much! You can read the full review here.
I also saw my friend Jack in the latest version of his one man show. I saw it last year, too. It was a lot of fun to support him again and I enjoyed the changes that were inevitable because a whole year of Jack has gone by since the last performance.
