So off we went to Washington DC. This was a very good idea. I think we should continue to do this sort of thing: take off on a spontaneous adventure at least once every three months. It's really good to get away.
We went to the National Zoo and the best thing happened there. We went to the Big Cats exhibit and saw that all the baby lions we visited a couple of years ago are all grown up now!
We also went to Arena Stage to see Mary Zimmerman's "Metamorphoses". It was beautiful! I really, really, really want to perform this play.
This picture is ME on MY STREET. Well, my fantasy street. Every time Fred and I go to DC, we take a walk on Garfield Avenue. It's one block from the National Zoo. Look at those cute row houses....? I want one. I want to live on Garfield Avenue in a candy-colored row house.
